Destined to Ascend is a visual novel RPG for players who want xianxia cultivation fantasy with room to shape their own path. The tone leans defiant, favoring ambition and consequence over lighthearted comedy.

Story

A lowborn girl marked for greatness sets out to defy the heavens and uncover the truth behind her hidden past. Surrounded by spiritual beasts, ancient legacies, and rigid sect hierarchies, she must claw her way toward immortality, choosing whether to earn it through strength, cunning, or both.

Gameplay

Progress comes through cultivating Qi, forging Dao techniques, and pushing through a breakthrough system that marks each stage of growth. Stat-building and destiny modifiers shape how encounters unfold, while turn-based combat and branching dialogue let you handle rivals through force, manipulation, or feigned submission. Outside of combat, you manage NPC relationships and can join an existing sect or found your own, deciding how far you're willing to go to walk the immortal path.
