Overview
Figaro Hotel is a visual novel for players who like slow-burn hotel dramas with a warm, character-driven tone. It suits anyone who enjoys getting to know a small cast of guests one conversation at a time.
Story
Alan is twenty-two and has just inherited his family's hotel in Italy, a country he barely speaks the language of, with his parents gone traveling and no staff to help him run it. The Grand Starlight fills with women guests, each carrying her own reasons for being there, and Alan is left at the front desk deciding whose requests to answer and whose trust to earn.
Gameplay
Play unfolds as a front-desk visual novel: Alan handles guest requests and conversations, and dialogue choices steer which guests he grows close to and which storylines stay closed off. Progress is organized around individual guest routes that can be followed at different paces, with some paths crossing when two guests appear in the same scene. The game is built around rendered 3D scenes and short animated sequences rather than free-roam exploration.
Features
- Multiple guest routes with separate event counts and pacing for each
- Scenes where two guests' storylines intersect and play out together
- High-resolution 3D renders mixed with animated sequences for key moments
Changelog
v0.1
Content:
- 28 playable events
- 650+ high-resolution renders and 5 animated sequences
- 6 guests at the Grand Starlight: Kate, Carla, Melany, Eva, Laura, Natalie

- How it works
- Free exploration across the lounge, the reception and the first floor: any area, any door may hide a scene
- Affinity system per character and per couple: events unlock by spending time with the right people in the right places — sometimes with a couple you wouldn't expect
- Reputation that grows with every event
- No time management: no calendar, no clock, no wasted days. Leave an area and come back whenever you want
- Interface
- Custom-built main menu, textbox and in-game screens, gold-and-black theme
- Guests menu: a card for every guest with portrait, room and introduction
- Content preferences at the start of a playthrough: turn on only what you want to see, without ever losing an event or a piece of the story
- Gallery in the main menu, ready for the scenes coming in future versions
- First sound effects on key scenes
- Languages
- The game is fully translated into 6 languages: English, Italian, French, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Dialogue and interface, everything.
- Language is picked on first launch and can be changed anytime in the options.
