Helminth is a 2D adult RPG for players who want dark fantasy settings with a management edge. The tone leans equal parts grim and irreverent.

Story

The Priestess, a human infused with the power of Izel, Aspect of Love, Gold and Fertility, arrives in Zuma, one of the last towns still holding a temple to her god. Her task is to spread Izel's teachings through the town, working to keep the faith alive where it has faded elsewhere.

Gameplay

Players guide the Priestess through Zuma, managing her efforts to grow Izel's influence while dealing with the town's inhabitants, human and monster alike. The game mixes sandbox exploration with turn-based combat encounters, framed around a female protagonist navigating both diplomacy and conflict as she carries out her religious duties.
