Overview
Neon Vice: Riley's Corruption is a text-based visual novel for players who want dark, slow-burn corruption stories with a heavier tone. It reads more like a mood piece than a lighthearted romp.
Story
Riley took the bartending job to make rent, nothing more. But her manager Victoria runs the place with rules that have little to do with pouring drinks, and the regulars treat "no" as a suggestion rather than an answer. Across a single shift, small compromises stack into something Riley can't easily walk back, and by the time the doors close, the line between getting through the night and losing herself has all but disappeared.
Gameplay
Play unfolds as a kinetic-style read: text and AI-generated stills carry the story forward with little player input beyond moving through scenes at your own pace. There's no branching sandbox to manage — just a single shift told in sequence, as pressure from Victoria and the bar's clientele escalates scene by scene. The focus stays on atmosphere and dialogue rather than menus or stat-tracking.
Features
- 2D AI-generated character art built around a neon bar setting
- A tightly contained single-shift narrative rather than an open-ended sim
- Themes of blackmail, manipulation, and female-led dominance throughout
Notes
This is an early, story-only build with no animations yet. It includes non-consensual and drugging content, so readers sensitive to those themes should approach with that in mind.
